Which cladding is used for light steel structures?

 

The structures are prefabricated in the factory and are composed of two main elements: the light steel frame and the cladding. There are different types of cladding depending on the use of light steel buildings. For depots and sheds there are generally two types of cladding: galvanised and painted sheet metal cladding or sandwich panel cladding with insulation. For other buildings, the sandwich panel roofing can be reinforced with a cement fibre board cladding to achieve different appearances (concrete, wood, stone, rock appearance, etc.). Assembly begins with installation of the galvanized light steel frame including the steel roof elements (purlins and steel roof trusses). The second step consists of installing the wall and roof cladding elements (sheet metal, sandwich panel and fibre cement board). Finally, the last stage of assembly consists of installing the door and window joinery, electrical and plumbing installation.
